In 11 games during the time frame the 17-year old Thunder Bay native racked up 17 points on 10 goals and seven assists. He also had an eight-game point streak in that span and a run where he scored in six consecutive contests. MacDonald also recently returned to the team after representing the North Stars and the SIJHL at the World Jr. A Challenge in Camrose, Alta., where he helped Team Canada West capture a silver medal at the multi-nation event.
He currently sits tied for fifth in the SIJHL in goals scored and is 13th in overall league scoring.
The North Stars forward will be recognized for his achievement at an upcoming home game with an on-ice presentation of a prize pack courtesy of Sportop Marketing.
MacDonald and the rest of his Fort William teammates return to game action Tuesday, Nov. 18 when they play a neutral site game in Nipigon vs. the Schreiber Diesels. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
